It is the oldest museums across the country and one of the oldest americas, this museum jumps on the archaeological collection with works by contemporary painters Colombians and the colonial era.
The first floor rooms of anthropological and archaeological pieces on display, there is also a sitting room with samples of permanent contemporary painters and sculptors of international fame, the second floor contains colonial art and historical objects, on the third floor can be seen in the exhibition paintings of renowned artists.

At present Colombians are open 17 permanent rooms with more than 20,000 objects on display after the tour if you want an exquisite taste Colombian coffee accompanied by other local delicacies, go to the cafeteria on the first floor and enjoy your refreshments while appreciating the books which are publicly available. The Museum is located on Seventh Race, between 28 and 29 streets.
